In RAT 4, you are able to neutralize, or disable, screamers in 7 Days to Die.
This is helpful when screamer farming is a problem on your server.
Screamer farming in 7 Days to Die is when a player purposely raises the activity (heat) map by placing campfires, forges or anything else that can heat to the chunks they are in to spawn screamers in.
This is a bad practice because you can only set so many zombies for the whole map. If you have max zombies set to 80 and a player has 25 zombies spawned in because of screamers, that leaves 55 zombies for the rest of the map. Say there are 2 or 3 groups questing in a tier 5 POI, there is a big risk that not all the zombies will spawn for the other groups.
With RAT 4, you will be able to mitigate screamer farming with this quick and easy trick.
Open the events and click the green plus to add a new event.
Change the name to what you want, change the event type to
The event should be close to what you see below.
Now enjoy have a screamer free server so no one can screamer farm.
