Hello fellow disorderly types.
Thanks for the AA guild forum invite. Hope to make it official in game soon and get to meet and greet everyone. Just wanted to introduce ourselves.
Filigree and I are the quintessential gaming couple. We meet in Everquest in 1999. At the time I was in the UK and she was in the USA. A chance encounter in game led to much adventuring for our dark elf necros and then things went from there. With the 8 hour time gap it proved to be a challenge but I eventually moved to the USA in late 2000 and we married and have been together ever since. We've run several big guilds with varying degrees of success in several MMOs. This time however, we want be a part of one and enjoy ourselves more. Guild leadership can be like a job at times so our sympathies go out to the leader(s) of Disorderlies! At least we will be gentle on you having suffered in the role from troublemakers and drama llamas over the years.
We hope to play AA through Alpha/Beta and launch and are firmly the farming/building types but also enjoy dungeon runs. We have some small plots in game already and an aqua farm and keep looking for a 16x16 but you know how that goes. We have a clipper ship each and after making many mistakes, a pretty good grasp on a lot of the game mechanics.
Hope to make some friends here to build something great with. Filigree's app to the site will follow in a day or two and we'll probably be on together Thur/Fri of this week.
