Experimental doesn't seem to be starting the server (A16 stable)

Guppy recommended I try Rat, so I am. I installed the a15 one and obviously had issues with a16 stable. I uninstalled and removed the appdata folders, and got the latest experimental rat running properly. I installed the server mod, but when I select start the server, the server never starts, and nothing connects at all.

Am I missing a setup step?
 
Ok, a steam dedicated server uninstall and reinstall did the trick. It looks like you have to manually enter the server password in the console.. can that be automated with a setting?

Also, I don't see an option to reset the game day or time... am I missing that? (With 7 days server manager, there was a slider for both.)

The only issue I'm seeing is irc isn't connected, but I'll search at the info provided here to see if I set it up incorrectly. I might not really need it since we use discord and will mainly be using it as a dedicated server for our local co op, with a few friends popping in on occasion.

It should enter the password for you normally. I still need to do some validations myself, so I'll make any updates if needed.

To edit the time, double click the time in the status bar on the lower left of RAT.
 
Yeah, its not remembering the password for me.. I need to manually enter it on the console when I start the server. (No biggie, but fyi.) Also, it looks like I can set time, but it doesn't accept the day setting.. just the time of day.

Now that I'm getting used to Rat, I'm kind of liking it! I Was using the 7dayserver manager, and while it did most of the basic things I wanted, getting to the setting was less intuitive than I'd have liked.
 
I didn't have the password correct... now that I fixed it, it starts the server without the password prompt in console. I changed the game time in the console which worked fine, but trying to use the gametime bottom left option still only allows me to set the time of day, not the actual day as well.

I'm glad you're enjoying RAT, there's always work to be done on it, but I keep trying to improve it. =)

Ok, I'm glad that's working! I'll look into the day not working, last time I tested that, it seemed to be working ok. Regardless, I'll get it fixed, thanks!
