MMO Night

The Summer Festival started today! Tons of stuff to do all over the starter areas.

Time for MMO Night again!
Shall we pick up where we left off on the primary quest arc?
If we need to slow or backup to get others caught up let us know. And of course, there's still room for more players. Join us any time.
 
Lotro night again tomorrow! I believe we'll be trying to continue the story once again but we can always do questing, skirmishes, dungeons, etc.
I may not make it this week but I'll try to be there.

Alrighty. I should probably be doing other things tonight myself.
So officially tonight isn't happening... lotro is always there if people want to hop on for awhile.
 
Lotro is still going pretty well but people have begun discussing other MMOs lately. I thought it might be a good idea to make a list of what we're interested in trying. Maybe we can develop some kind of consensus or group preference as we go.

Those I've heard or thought of, in no particular order:

Guild Wars 2 (this looks to be next, probably concurrent with lotro)
The Secret World
Anarchy Online
Earth & Beyond (emulator)
Final Fantasy 14
 
I'd be happy to change to a new one if we could get more people involved. I really don't care what I play.
 
I did download GW2 looks quite fun I made a toon on Aspen fort cause it had a high population. Servers do not appear to have a listing on what type of serve it is though

So do we need to start a GW2 night? Multiple people mentioned downloading but I haven't seen anyone else actually playing.
Do we just lack usernames to get on friends lists?
 
I actually want to try out GW2, sadly prob won't get to play with any of you guys though due to time differences.

After a quick search, GW2 is now F2P with limits? and you have to buy the expansion if you want?
 
I'm not sure what method the game uses now. I bought it at release so it just tells me I should get the new expansion.
 
LOTRO night begins in an hour as usual.
Hope to see some people online despite all the new distractions...
