RAT 3 is coming along nicely

You could get all of that right now from the test version in Discord.

The primary difference right now (between Test and Release) is that test versions will not have the database upgrade option. So sometimes, you'll be required to start with a clean database and lose any events/groups/whatever you might have done.

As to full release ETA, I'm not really sure to be honest. I have to rewrite all of the upgrade code (mostly) and whatnot. I'll have some extra time over the next two weeks, and we'll see what I can get done in that timeframe. As it is, the test version seems pretty stable and decent at this point, and as long as it does what you want it to, you never HAVE to upgrade, so if that does what you want, you should be good.
 
Thanks so much for the response, all that makes complete sense. I'll give the Test release a try. I tried to find it in Discord, but couldn't find it. I found a download link for Rat 2 in the iRat Info channel, but obviously, that's the old version. Sorry, I'm sure I"m missing something obvious.

Click the Pins icon at the top of the Discord window, when you are in the #rat_support channel, and that will link to the latest Test version.
 
Just found out about this server mod, been running a small dedicated server for my friends and i where i been doing everything through rummaging through xml files and connecting on ftp for quite awhile and its a chore.
Recently messing around found out about this server mod and seen how it works.....i need this in my life!!!
Would love to be the test subject for any versions, server i'm on is low enough spec and max player count of 8 on server.

You can find the TEST version by clicking the Discord link on the page page of this site (on the left). Once there, join the #rat_support channel, click the Pins icon at the top of the page, download. =)
 
Getting back into 7D2D again and thought the RAT project was dropped. It's good to hear there is still interest in this project, as it's almost an essential for servers. Does RAT 2 work with version A20 in the meantime?
